The National Animal Welfare Trust is one of the UK’s top animal welfare charities operating five rehoming centres across the south of England. The charity cares for and rehomes over 1200 animals a year and is active in all the local communities in which it serves. The National Animal Welfare Trust wishes to appoint two Trustees to its Board to support the organisation to help as many UK pets as possible by providing the appropriate service to pet owners, ensuring a safe and secure future for their pets. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to animal welfare, will complement the skills and talents of the existing Trustees, will think strategically, work collaboratively and be able to make a significant contribution.
